To give people a feel for the book, I will be putting up some sample chapters for people to view here. Although the book is being translated into several languages, it is not going to be translated into every lanuage, so one of the things I will provide is a sample chapter or two for many of these "other" languages. You will find them right here, and maybe I can even convince my publisher to try some of these languages? :-)
I wanted to explain how I choose chapters for inclusion here -- my main goal is to pick ones that help represent the sort of knowledge in the book but that do not have intricate samples that would have to be downloaded. There is a lot of code on the book's CDROM, but I am choosing chapters that will not make you feel unhappy about not having the CDROM! If you like what you see, you can head back to the main page and look into purchasing the book!
