Summary
- The Windows 2000 built-in inner code input method supports the input of zone bit code, the GBK inner code,
and the Unicode code point.
- The first two digits of the zone bit code are the zone code, and the last two digits are the bit code. The zone
encoding is from 01-94, and the bit encoding is also from 01-94. Under the input mode of zone bit code, typing the
corresponding zone code and bit code will allow you to input one Chinese character. Chinese characters are from
zone 16 to zone 87, while zone 01 to 15 are graphic symbols and letters.
- The zone bit code input supports "Chinese Character Encoding Charset for
Information Exchange -- Base Set," i.e. the inner code input mode of GB2312-80. The range of the inner
code encoding is: 0xA1A1~0xFEFE.
- The GBK inner code input covers all of the Chinese characters specified in the Chinese
character extension inner code standard – GBK.
- UNICODE code input supports all of the Chinese characters specified in the "Universal
Multiple 8-Bit Encoding Character Set (UCS)" -- international standard ISO/IEC10646.1-1993.
